There is a story that is told amoungst my people that explain a great deal of matters that Laytek faces today. The story tells of a family of magik folk who were cursed with a gift of a son. This son was not a regular child, he was gifted with powers not known to anyone. Without a chance, this young boy was casted out of the household right when he took life.
